WHAT HAPPENS AT THE YARD: MAY ANNIVERSARY EDITION

May was a special month at VMG Yachtbuilders. We celebrated the highlight of our anniversary year: Bubbles & Boats. Despite the weather not being on our side, the event was a spectacular success.

Over the course of three exclusive business days, we welcomed many of our clients from both the Netherlands and abroad. It was a pleasure to speak with all of them and show them what we’ve been working on. And while the rain came down on Saturday, the party certainly didn’t slow down. The celebration was great and a true reflection of everything we stand for.

Meanwhile, the yard has been as busy as ever.

Neorion is complete and has set off again, ready for her next adventures.
On Simmerdream, progress continues every day. Her interior is really starting to shine and brings out the beauty of this stunning yacht.

In the spray booth, the fairing of the superstructure on the Puffin 42 is now complete. She will soon receive her first layer of primer before moving back from the spray booth to the building facility for further work on her interior.

The first of three sport fishing boats is now entering the finishing phase. We’re getting closer to the launch, and the first one is expected to hit the water in the coming months.

At Super Duplex Hulls, a new hull for the Zilverfloat Scout 35 has just been rolled out, and work has already started on the next one: a new build for X-Craft. Beautiful work as always from the SDH team.

Also still at the Paktuinen is De Vrouwe Christina, the striking yacht built by Feadship. We’re carrying out a few seasonal touch-ups to get her ready for the months ahead.

As you can tell from the length of this update, it’s been a packed and exciting month. On to June!
