Project update: Zaca 73

Zaca 73 ‘Selene’ changed owners last year. In cooperation with her designer Olivier van Meer, the new owner made a plan to realize his specific wishes. One of his demands contains a full technical refit including a unique “Soft Anchoring System”; running on engine the yacht will stay in position with one push of a button.

With changing the main sail for a Leisure furling boom and the rearranging of some deck equipment she will be fit for short handed sailing.

Among other features like a stern anchor and a retractable passerelle, approximately 30% of her interior will have a re-arrangement as well. One of the biggest compliments after 13 years of intensive use was her remarkable general condition due to the solid shipbuilding standards used, the signature of Olivier van Meer’s Zaca yachts.
