SIMMERDREAM RELAUNCHED

Yesterday, Simmerdream was relaunched after an extensive refit at VMG Yachtbuilders. This elegant 16.50-metre steel motor yacht, originally built in 1946 by De Vries Lentsch and designed by De Voogt, is now back where she belongs.

In the past weeks, we focused on the final phase of the project. The hatches and doors were carefully reinstalled, and all components that had been restored separately were brought back together. With every detail now in place, she is once again complete.

One of the most striking parts of the refit is her entirely new interior. Crafted with respect for the original character of the yacht, it brings a new level of comfort and style to life on board. Photos of the result will follow soon.

Next up is the sea trial, planned for next week. We look forward to seeing her back on the water.
