VMG Yachtbuilders, based in Enkhuizen, specializes in high-end custom and semi-custom build pleasure craft. We build yachts up to 40 meters to many different specifications. Our well-known brands are Puffin, Agile and IJver. Enkhuizen is in the middle of West Friesland, a region known for decades of yacht building tradition. What we are looking for
Experienced (or eager to learn) shipwrights for luxury (custom built) yachts, with knowledge of high-end wood and fineers, furniture and exterior fittings and all other necessary skills. You are familiar with the machines for this job, among which a CNC machine and all the regular handtools. Understanding designs and drawings comes natural to you, you can make drawings yourself too.
We are looking for a versatile personality with an interest (or better: experience) in producing or working with composites made of glass, carbon, aramide and hybrid fibers.
You have an extensive toolkit of talents, common sense and a can-do mentality.
