IJver 1 back in the water
The IJver (IJver-class nr1) returned to VMG Yachtbuilders this winter for normal winter maintenance and to have a list of upgrades applied. The most obvious upgrade is the new rig. The IJver will have more sail, especially to limit rolling of the boat on downwind courses. She has been equipped with a gyro stabilizer, but this stabilizer is less effective on these courses.
Many smaller upgrades have been applied to both interior and exterior. She is as good as new and ready for a great sailing season!
