DEFINING A DECADE: PUFFIN 37 “HAAKS”

The Puffin 37 “Haaks” was the first yacht fully built by VMG Yachtbuilders, marking an important milestone for the yard. Construction started in 2016, and she was delivered in 2017. Unlike earlier Puffins, which were built in aluminum or steel, “Haaks” was crafted using glass, epoxy, and Corecell. This made her significantly lighter, allowing for a slimmer underwater hull and a taller, more modern rig. The result? A lively, fast-sailing classic that stays true to the Puffin heritage.

With her unmistakable deckhouse windows, tumblehome, heart-shaped stern, and slightly negative bow, “Haaks” carries the signature Puffin design that has stood out for decades. A true future classic, she blends timeless aesthetics with modern materials and techniques. This combination enhances durability while maintaining the craftsmanship and character that define a Puffin.
