JEFF: OFF TO HER NEW HOME
After months of careful restoration, “Jeff” has left VMG Yachtbuilders.
Built in 1923, this remarkable Dunkirk Little Ship has been restored in close collaboration with Olivier van Meer Design. She is now on her way to Dinant, Belgium, where she will join another familiar VMG Yachtbuilders and Olivier van Meer Design project: the beautifully restored saloon boat “Sally”.
Over the past months, “Jeff” has undergone an extensive restoration. From preserving her original wooden hull and rebuilding key structural elements to creating a completely renewed interior and deck layout, every step has been carried out with respect for her history, craftsmanship and character.
Watching “Jeff” leave the yard is a proud moment for everyone involved. We are grateful for the trust the owner has placed in VMG Yachtbuilders and Olivier van Meer Design by entrusting us with both “Jeff” and “Sally”. We wish them many wonderful years together on the water.
In one of our next updates, we’ll take you behind the scenes of the complete restoration and share the remarkable story of “Jeff”, from her role in Operation Dynamo to the craftsmanship behind her transformation.
