WHAT HAPPENS AT THE YARD | MARCH 2026

March has been an active month at the yard, with multiple projects moving forward across different phases.

The yard itself has also seen some updates. Holland Jachtbouw is now visible on the hall doors, and a new façade banner features the motor yacht Tulipa, delivered in 2024.

Sally has left the yard. She was with us this winter for maintenance and varnish work and is now ready for the new season.

Puffin 42 has reached an important milestone. She has been launched, her mast is stepped and the rigging is complete. We are now focused on the final phase, where all systems are checked and final details are completed before her first sea trials.

On Jeff, progress continues as we build her back up. The new aluminium roof has been fitted by Super Duplex Hulls. Work is now continuing in the joinery hall, where the bow bench, table and interior elements are being built. The bench at the steering console has been installed, and the floor is ready to be placed. Step by step, her structure and layout are coming together again.

Selene is currently undergoing a full exterior refresh. Her hull, superstructure and inner bulwarks are being resprayed, while her exterior woodwork is being refinished in parallel, in preparation for the upcoming season.

The Sport Fish series is progressing well. The Flybridge version is taking shape with the installation of the mezzanine and aft bulkhead. On the Express version, Jongkind Service Medemblik has installed the main switch panel, the main fuse of the forward battery bank and the air conditioning control unit.

The refit of Patriot is carried out by Holland Jachtbouw and Vripack Yacht Design. Holland Jachtbouw has been part of the VMG Group since 2021. Work on Patriot is progressing well on multiple fronts. SDH handled the dismantling of the bow thruster and pumps, including the pickling of stainless steel components. Primer has been applied to the superstructure and the hull is being prepared for paint. At the same time, construction of the crew bathroom has started. The project is moving forward with a clear focus on quality and coordination.
